Paul Rodriguez and artist Don Pendleton worked together to design their own Mountain Dew can. This collaboration inspired 35 skateshops around the country to design their own can as part of the Mountain Dew Green Label Art Shop Series. Continuum was choosen as one of these 35 shops. The shops have been divided into 7 regions and the shop with the most votes in their region moves closer to getting their can produced and nationally distributed. Regional voting lasts until September 9, 2010 and you can vote seven times every single day. Each vote will count for one entry into a sweepstakes where you have a chance to win stuff every week including a custom prize pack or a trip to a Dew Tour event. Go to the South region and vote for the can Aaron Green designed for Continuum. We need your votes every single day!

The Nike SB Icon X Icon pack and June quickstrikes go on sale this Saturday at 11am. The Icon X Icon series includes the long awaited Eric Koston designed Dunk Low Premium SB and the new Blazer Mid SB CS designed by Brian Anderson. Eric Koston's Dunk Low includes a new heel lining pod to enhance fit and decrease slippage, a new grippier outsole durometer, and a turn and stitch toebox with a new eyestay lace for added protection. The flag of Koston's native Thailand is the inspiration behind this dunk's colorway. Brian Anderson chopped down the Blazer to a Mid Top height and added a Cupsole Construction for lighter weight and added durability all while keeping the classic vulcanized profile and sidewall stability.
The quickstrikes for June include Koston's "Thai Temple" Dunk High (Metallic Gold/Metallic Vegas Gold/Team Red) BA's "Captain" Blazer CS (Midnight Navy/Varsity Maize). The colorway on the Dunk High takes inspiration from temples in Koston's native Thailand. The Blazer CS quickstrike has an extra thick embroidered yellow Nike Swoosh similiar to the stitching on a Navy Captain's hat.

A new shoe from Vans, the Versa has arrived. The vision of the Versa was to create a product that was ideal for the next generation of hardcore skateboarders who want a product that can perform and also have a more refined sense of aesthetic style. Alex Olson was a key contributor to this project and explained that he wanted a product that would function perfectly, look good on and off his board, and stand apart from the standard skate shoe design formula. We were really inspired by this idea and set out to blend high performance and high-end style, the result is a very versatile shoe. The upper is based on simple, sophisticated luxury sneakers, while the outsole is a clean, refined version of our classic look. The stylish performance bottom unit delivers the grip and cushioning required by the most demanding professional skaters. Imported.
